Tibetan bowl sound therapy – This Somatic Therapy touches our sense of hearing to relieve anxiety and promote relaxation. When you are on the beach or near a water fountain, you may find that the sound of water invokes a certain feeling. Relaxation? Happiness? That’s the foundation of Somatic Therapy. I use Tibetan singing bowls in two ways: as a tool to send vibrations through your body. This method involves the guest. They will hold the bowl in their hand, or on their chest or stomach while it is played. I also use the chime of bowls as an indicator to breathe during the part of the session that involves our prana practice.
